Anyway feeling really tired right now! Had the ION orchard official opening gig. Shared the stage with Wang Lee Hom. Well he’s quite a famous artiste in asia, sooo ya. Many fans of his. But not me Yay for english music. But he was kind of good, no doubt. But a few of us found him to be rather arrogant. Idk, lol. So many bodyguards.

The gig was good though Anyway so tired now, ahh. I’m going to sleep.

Hey all I’ve been studying real hard, if that is what you wanted to find out. Yes, so I was at Holland V’s BK doing math like mad (since that was the only thing I brought out to mug).

I did it for… mmm. 2-8+. So that was about 6 hours, omg nowonder my brain is dead. Then before that I was studying in the library from 8.30-12 Breaks included. Haha.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a revelation with you all. Got it a few days ago.

So in every relationship there’s the “Adam & Eve” situation. What Adam and Eve, you ask?

Well in the bible it says that

¹⁶ And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; ¹⁷ but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”

So what happened to them? Well the devil tempted Eve, and she ate of the fruit and even gave some to Adam, who too ate of the fruit. So they defied the “rules”. Mankind plunged into a world of sin and yabee-dee-dabe-dee-do. You know what happened after. But right now, in every relationship here on earth, there is the male and the female. The males would be represented by Adam, and the females, Eve.

So the situation would somewhat be repeated. God tells Adam that he is able to eat of any fruit, but not of the fruit of the tree of good and evil. God didn’t tell Eve, Adam was expected to. Anyway, so God might have told us the males in the relationship something that the female might not know. Therefore it is our duty to take care of our other half, and ensure that she is kept away from the evil things of the devil.

This could be anything, as long as it is evil, I believe it applies.

anyway really distracted, I hope you get the drift. Lol. Really excited about studying again I feel so good about emath! Amath… meh. Keep studying Ben!

Anyway, looking forward to the 2 intensive weeks of learning and revision.

Lord, I pray that you’ll help my concentrate and focus in class, absorb as much as I can handle. I pray that these two weeks will no go to waste. No single second will be wasted lazing around, but instead I will be working hard to ensure that my studies improve. After all, Father I understand that You help those who help themselves. Right now I’m putting in effort to become a better student, a better son, a better friend, and as well as a better boyfriend. I pray that Lord, things will work out fine Even if they don’t, I shall emerge through these tribulations as gold. I trust in You with all that I have, and I thank You for pouring so much blessings over my life. I thank You, and I give You praise, in Jesus’ most precious name I pray. Amen!

Anyway, planned what I’m going to study for amath within my 1 month time frame. Feeling good about it, I’m on track Still need help on the curves and circles topic. I don’t know how to approach the question and solve it, ah.

More studying later on, no more fun and going out to play anymore. Been turning down a couple of people who wanted to go out, really sorry. I have to discipline myself to study and not go out anymore!

Plans for the day? Well going to meet Ying for lunch KFC @ Tiong Bahru Plaza! Then gonna study there till cell group.

Oh and I have been hooked onto a game called Plants vs Zombies.

Basically it’s a strategy game where you have to plant your plants and use them to stop the zombies from invading you. Like a tower defense game Yeah I like those. Muyahaha. And yes, I do have the full version ^_^

Going to sleep right after I pray to God Many many things I want to tell him. Haha.

So the last day was pretty slack, my group just basically stayed in the guest room thingy for almost the whole time. We had a performance at 6, which was just right outside, so we just moved our drums out like 25 metres, performed not too long, and then all went back to relax. Next performance was at 11 so we had a lot of time, muhahaha.

A couple of other people have fallen ill too Get well soon Yong Qiang, Elisa, Verena!

Now that all the fun is over, o levels are just round the corner. Feeling a little scared already. Ahhhhh, okay I have to study now

When my sticks still had fire

Anyway so it’s been a pretty long time since I last blogged. Prelims are finally over, and I wanted to so-called just let it all out for this F1 weekend! Who knew I was going to fall sick with stomach flu :/ It’s such a pity. However, I know that I will be well by tomorrow by God’s grace

Before I reveal anything else, I just want to talk about my first day of the F1 performances! It was a really really cool experience. Got our F1 tags WHICH we have to return at the end of the day >__> It’s still really cool though. It says

With my picture there So anyways, had to walk a really long distance to the venues, which prolly made me really tired. Felt feverish and sick even before reporting so I guess all the work done worsened my condition.

Played 2 times on friday, with the UDMs. Perhaps that worsened it even more. It’s probably my first time playing the UDMs with such a wonderful crowd.

On the last performance of the day, the ang-mohs were awesomely active. And they all hyped up the crowd Everyone was standing there and watching us play, it was cool man. After that they all kept saying ‘One More! One More!’ haha. Then came and hugged us and said we were awsome. Then took pictures, and then I felt even more sick. Really used up all my energy on that last performance. Just felt like getting an ambulance to send me home :/

Felt like puking, or even just lying on the ground and rest there. But then there was the hot shower which made things better Not to mention my beloved girlfriend who didn’t hesitate to take care of me. I love you dearest! <3

Awoke the next day to a lot of messages. Out of which half of them were from Ying Ying. She really cares a lot. Hehe, I feel so lucky

Okay I’m quite tired, so I just want to end this here saying that I’m pretty sure I have stomach flu, cause all the symptoms tally. But there’s one thing that I am even more certain of, that all of these happened for a reason. If I didn’t fall sick, I wouldn’t have known how much my friends cared for me, how much Ying Ying loves me, how much my sister cares for me to buy panadol, and how much my mum still loves me. I am indeed truly blessed to have people like these in my life.

Update! Okay, you guys might be wondering why I’m here blogging when I said that I wouldn’t touch the computer until the 24-25th of september. Well you see that’s when my prelims end and I didn’t know that I have a really long break until wednesday. So like today was CLB papers 1 and 2 which was a total waste of time! Then sat, sunday, monday is the hari raya holiday, and I don’t have any papers on tuesday. So that’s a long break

Soooo what have I been doing the past few days? Well basically studying and having practices. Mugged geog until pretty late at night, and I think I did pretty well for the paper which was on the next day Remembered most of my points, but then yes I did forget some of them. Whatever!

I guess that after today, I won’t be using the comp again. A day’s break is enough!

Feeling pretty psyched up for F1 Watching all the commercials and ads about F1 makes me happy. Cause like I know that I’m gonna be there HAHAHA. Though I don’t know how much exposure I will have in terms of whether I will be able to see the race or not. Heard my team performs at 11pm slots so… I hope we have free time to roam

Yup, soo was chosen to play the toms for F1. Wew, didn’t like it initially but then I guess everything has its reasons. These might be psychological obstacles in a way, but then I know and I know, that it allows me to see things from a different point of view AS WELL to not take the current things which I have for granted. In other words, I have learnt to be more thankful for the opportunities I mean like come onnnn I’m already in F1, and I’m playing the UDMs.

Yeah, Ben has also taught me on giving it best shot, no matter what you are called out to do. Hence, I shall give the performance my best shot, no matter what I’m playing I’m performing for God, not for the publicity Publicity can wait, God can provide it whenever He wants to.

Shopping for stuff later on, and Rochor Tau Huay! Not going to go out for too long though, planning to be home early

Hello world, just doing a short update. Really really short.

Gonna be really busy with studies, drumming, church, as well as trying to let my brain rest >_>.

Okay mostly studies, and lesser of the rest anyway but what I have decided to do is to:

GO ON A COMPUTER FAST UNTIL THE 25TH OF SEPTEMBER.

In other words, it means:

I AM NOT GOING TO USE THE COMPUTER UNTIL THE 25TH OF SEPTEMBARRRRRR.

Yes, it starts right after this post.

F1 is just next week, really excited to play the UDMs (water drums?)

I seriously hope I can see the Black Eyed Peas up close and personal! But I doubt it’s gonna be possible anyway. Haha.
